M Abdelhamid EL MAZID, Ifrane province governor

In everyProvince of the Kingdom, the National Initiative of HumanDevelopmentwas able to reach a high degree of maturityduring more than 12 years of existence, afterit’slaunching by H.M. The King Mohammed VI on May 18th, 2005.
Based on a philosophy of socio-economicdevelopment, the ultimateaim of the INDHwas to add to the actions contained in the sectoral programs, complementary actions chosenthrough a participatorydiagnosiswith the target population of the poorest areas, whilerespecting the values and principles of INDH.
In the Province of Ifrane, throughassessmentsdrawn up at the end of each phase, the INDHwas able to respond to a major need for basic infrastructure and social services, support at the level of social protection institutions, economical insertion and income-generatingactivities, as well as support for local governance.
Indeed, it should be emphasized that the INDH is the first social program based on participation. The latter, encompasses multiple aspects namely information, takingintoaccount opinions, the results display, mediation, inclusion ... Hence the importance of setting up a powerful and agreat influence communication vectorthatwillbe able to bring about the interactivity of a large section of the population.
The implementation of a websitededicated to the INDH in Ifrane Province is part of this perspective. This toolshouldpromote local communication, whichis an essential element of the participatoryprocessinitiated, with the populations and project leaders, and in generalwith all local actors.
This site wouldbe a controlledspace for sharing information on the fundamentals and achievements of the INDH. It isalso a platform for communication and interaction thatpromotessustainable exchange through an easy and close process of transparency and democratization of access to information.
In this respect, Ifrane Province is called more than ever to work tirelessly in this forward-looking vision to achieve the expected results in terms of reducing territorial and socio-economic disparities, meeting ever-increasing needs and therefore to improve the welfare of the target population.
Wecannot finish withoutshowing the greatcooperation of the local authorities and local actorswho are activelyinvolved in the implementation of the projects and who are makingsignificant efforts for the success of thisproject of reign.
